Important HR Command Updates

A big month. Plenty has gone live, one major build is underway, and there is a fresh batch of templates waiting in your library. Here is the rundown, plus the two things we need from you.

July 2026 update from the HR Command team. Backed by Cowell Clarke Commercial Lawyers.

What has gone live this month

Four things are now available in your account, one of them brand new, one of them an add-on that plugs into what you already have. Take a look, and tell us what you want switched on.

Key takeaways

  • DIY LMS is now available to every client. Let us know and we will activate it.
  • Custom Document Builder is available to clients who signed up before 1 August 2026.
  • Psychosocial WHS triage is a new add-on that sits inside your current WHS offering. A must have.
  • Flexible Work Engine is live, and handles the Victorian work from home process end to end.
  • Workforce module (rosters, timesheets, payroll, leave, award engine) is in build. A short survey is coming so you can help shape it.
  • A large batch of new policies and letters has landed in your template library.

DIY LMS, now available to everyone

Now live

HR Command now includes a full do-it-yourself Learning Management System. Build your own courses, assign training, run compliance modules and track completion across your team, all in the one place. No separate platform, no extra logins.

It is available to every client. It is not switched on by default, so if you want it, just say the word and we will activate it for your account. Want to see it first? Watch how to create and publish a course, or read the full overview.

Custom Document Builder

Now live

Build your own templates the way you want them. Merge fields, conditional logic, clause numbering and cross-references, all in HR Command house style, ready to generate for any client or employee in seconds.

Included until 1 August 2026 Sign up before 1 August 2026 and the Custom Document Builder is included in your plan. After that date it becomes a paid add-on. It is not going anywhere, it simply moves to an add-on from 1 August. Come on board before then to have it included.

Psychosocial WHS triage, assessments and procedures

New add-on

A new add-on that plugs straight into your existing WHS offering. It gives you psychosocial hazard triage, structured assessments and ready-to-run procedures, so you can identify, act on and evidence your response to psychosocial risk. With the regulator focus where it is right now, this is a must have.

It uses the WHS registry and tools you already have, so there is nothing new to learn from scratch. Have a look, then let us know if you want it added.

Flexible Work Engine

Now live Add-on

The Flexible Work Engine is now available at flexwork.hrcommand.com.au. It handles the Victorian work from home process end to end: employee requests and notices, your decision inside the 21-day window, and the letters that go back to employees. Everything is tracked, so nothing slips and every decision is documented.

It is built directly off the new Victorian work from home law, so the process and letters line up with what the Bill requires.

Coming soon: Rosters, Timesheets, Payroll, Leave and Award Engine

In the making

We are building a full workforce module: rosters, timesheets, payroll, leave and an award engine with automatic underpayment and overpayment readiness. Easy clock in and clock off where you need it.

We are building it with your input, not guesswork. Keep an eye on your inbox. A short note is coming your way with a few quick questions, so you can help shape exactly what we build.
